When you talk with someone, you should let the more important person talk first. This is true when you talk to God. If you read the Bible before you pray, His Word will guide your prayers.
After reading the Bible, ask God to use His words in your life that day. Ask Him to help you live as He wants you to and be a witness for Him to people who don’t know Him. Ask Him each morning to give you the opportunity to tell someone about Him that day.
In the evening, remember to thank God for what He has done for you that day. Thank Him for your food, your work and for another day of life. Confess any sin you have done, or anything you should have done but didn’t. He will forgive you! Then talk to Him about the things you have read in the Bible.
