I thank my God every time I remember you . . . because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now (Philippians 1:3,5).
Thank you so much for upholding us in prayer. We absolutely know that we can not do this in our own strength and that we are dependant on your faith-full prayers. God has answered many of our prayers but here’s a big ones this last month. Join us in thanking Him for all his blessings and kindness toward us.
- New Life Christian Reformed Church has agreed to rent us their facility on Saturday evenings for our weekend service. It is a lovely traditional building in the central corridor of our community just blocks from the Colorado Mesa University campus. Pray that God will guide us and help us connect with folks in that neighborhood.
- Exciting news – Amanda and Nathan are expecting their first child. That’s one way to grow a church :).
- Christian Life Fellowship’s Mission Board (Port Edwards, WI) has begun sending monthly support for the church plant. One of the team’s family members are also sending regular monthly support. Pray that God will bless them for their generosity toward us.
Please pray as the Spirit guides you but we would also appreciate you lifting the following up in prayer this week:
Touch-Points into our Greater Community:
- Personal relationships with family, friends and coworkers: The Church is more than a building, more than a collection of programs, even more than the Sunday morning services. To those of like faith it is the Family of God and to the world it is the living testimony of God’s Eternal Kingdom breaking into time and space.
- Discipleship Groups: Still working on this. Pray for favor and opportunities to invite those we live among and work with into a deeper relationship.
- Celebrate Recovery: Launched but still working on connecting with folks in the neighborhoods around Junction Community Church. Don’t have any regulars yet.
NineSevenZero Church:
- For Kingdom minded folks to recognize the opportunity and join us in our mission by providing the funds necessary to launch NineSevenZero Church.
- For God to send co-laborers to join our planting & launch teams (Matt 9:37-38). These folks might be residents of the Grand Valley or Kingdom minded folks that would relocate here to help us launch the church. Ministry leaders and faithful/dedicated servants who will labor with us and support the launch of NineSevenZero Church
- We have postponed our Easter 2014 public launch because we have been unable to attract a worship leader for the team. This is a critical need. PLEASE PRAY for God to call someone to serve as our worship leader. A true and skilled worshipper who will train and build teams. Humble in heart with a teachable spirit and that fits the chemistry of our team and the vision of the church.

- Please pray for continued provision, protection and God’s favor in our community.
- The demands of establishing ourselves here, family, work and the church launch have us all at max. Please pray for strength, health and discernment in making right decisions.
